Toyota will fully resume operations at its enterprises located in Japan only on October 26, as reported by the Kyodo agency.

On October 16, an explosion occurred at a subsidiary plant in Aichi Prefecture that produces automotive components for Toyota. Two employees were injured, one of them was hospitalized. The causes of the explosion are being established. The shutdown plants produce models such as the Corolla, Prius, Land Cruiser, and RAV4.
According to Kyodo, Toyota employees were sent to an auxiliary plant to eliminate the consequences of the explosion and restore production as quickly as possible.
