The rumor that AMD is preparing the Radeon RX 7900 GRE (the acronym stands for Golden Rabbit Edition) appeared not so long ago, but has already received strong confirmation in the form of images of the production version from Sapphire.
Equipped with a triple fan cooler, the Sapphire Nitro Radeon RX 7900 GRE is very similar to the Nitro Radeon RX 7900 XT. True, it is not clear whether there will be a full-fledged evaporation chamber here. But we can say for sure that the GRE version will receive two standard 8-pin connectors for connecting additional power.

AMD Radeon RX 7900 Golden Rabbit Edition will be built on the Navi 31 GPU: in terms of the number of execution units (84) and stream processors (5376), there are no differences from the Radeon RX 7900 XT on Navi 31 XT, but there will be less memory – only 16 GB, and there will be a narrower memory bus – 256 bits.
