A production line for assembling units for PD-8 is currently being built
The United Aircraft Corporation announced that the Voronezh Aviation Plant (VASO) assembled the first set of engine nacelle units for the PD-8 engine of the SJ-100 aircraft. These parts will be sent to the United Engine Corporation for the assembly of the PD-8.

“ We have no doubts about the implementation of this program. The technology for assembling the units of new engine nacelles has already been well mastered, taking into account the experience in manufacturing parts for the PD-14 aircraft engine , ”said Timofey Nurdinov, head of the VASO engine nacelle specialization center.
The UAC noted that in order to ensure mass production, a production line for assembling units for PD-8 is now being built. This will be the most modern production facility that will meet the needs for engine nacelle units for various types of new domestic aircraft engines.
