Huawei held a press conference last week on the launch of the flagship Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro + and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design phones. Smartphones will launch in China on October 30. The company is also expected to unveil the Nova 8 series in November. Over the weekend, an analyst in China said that next month not only the Nova 8 line but also the flagship Honor V40 series will be announced.

Detailed specifications of the Nova 8 SE have also been released. Previous leaks indicate that the Nova 8 family includes three phones: Nova 8 SE, Nova 8, and Nova 8 Pro.
The Huawei Nova 8 SE is speculated to have a 6.53-inch LCD screen with a hole for the front camera. The device has a thickness of 7.46 mm and weighs 178 g. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels. The main camera is represented by image sensors with a resolution of 64, 8, 2 and 2 megapixels.
The source adds that the Huawei Nova 8 SE will have a 3800mAh battery and will likely support 66W fast charging.
The Nova 8 SE is expected to be available with Dimensity 720 and Dimensity 800U SoCs.
