That is, the thickness will be less than 9.9 mm

At one time, smartphone manufacturers competed to see who would produce the thinnest device. In this race, companies reached incredible values of about 5 mm, and then everyone suddenly stopped chasing thinness. Now, foldable smartphones seem to be going through roughly the same phase. At least the upcoming Honor Magic Vs2 will be thinner than the current Magic V2, even though the latter is already incredibly thin for its class.

Honor announced that the new product will be presented on October 12, although the current model was released in July. But the point is that the new model should be thinner. The current one, we remind you, has a thickness of only 9.9 mm when folded, and less than 5 mm when unfolded. Probably, the new product will be quite a bit thinner, but this will be enough for loud statements.

As for the rest, leaks have already shown that it will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC instead of the Gen 2 in the Honor Magic V2. This means that the new model should be cheaper.
