But that’s only in teraflops.
As you know, Intel Meteor Lake processors will receive a very productive integrated graphics core. According to recent data, the iGPU in at least some of the flagship models of the new generation of CPUs will operate at a frequency of 2.2 GHz.
It will be a processor with six large, eight small cores and an iGPU with eight Xe cores, which corresponds to 1024 compute units. That is, we are talking about the maximum configuration for Meteor Lake.
The graphics core in Intel Meteor Lake processors will be more powerful than the PlayStation 4 Pro
Returning to the GPU, its performance is estimated at 4.5 TFLOPS, which is slightly higher than the Radeon 780M, or, for example, higher than the PlayStation 4 Pro. However, it is pointless to measure gaming performance in teraflops, so this does not tell us much yet. But recently there has been reports that the top iGPU in Meteor Lake will get performance between the GTX 1650 Ti and the 35W RTX 3050 Laptop.
The information was shared by the Golden Pig Upgrade Pack insider, who at one time shared performance leaks of Intel CPUs of different generations.
