Today, the head of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, officially announced the new Xiaomi HyperOS operating system. According to rumors circulating on the Internet, it can replace the iconic MIUI shell.

“ Today marks a historical moment. After years of teamwork, our new Xiaomi HyperOS operating system will officially debut at the Xiaomi 14 line [announcement event],” the executive wrote on Twitter.
Accordingly, the first smartphones running HyperOS will be Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro; later the new OS will completely replace MIUI. The premiere of the Xiaomi 14 line is expected on October 27.
