The software says 16 cores in total
The Core Ultra 7 155H processor, which belongs to the Meteor Lake line, has appeared on the Internet. We have already seen several models of this line before, but their names consist of four digits, not three.
Core Ultra 7 155H is one of the flagships of the line, as it has the maximum number of cores for Meteor Lake. To be more precise, there are 16 of them, but perhaps it is more correct to talk about 14 cores: six large and eight small. Two more cores are on the SoC chip, and we do not yet know what they will do and why they are needed at all.
The mobile Core Ultra 7 155H with six large cores outperforms even the desktop Core i9-12900
The CPU operates at up to 4.8 GHz and in Geekbench 6 scores 2294 and 12,749 points in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively.
This is a very good result. In multi-threaded mode, it is even higher than that of the Core i9-12900, but the new product should have a much lower TDP, not to mention fewer cores.
Meteor Lake will be released at the end of this year only in mobile form.
