Published the first official images of the crossover
Geely has unveiled the first official images and specifications of the new Geely Atlas family crossover, known in China as the Geely Boyue. The new model in China will be released under the name Geely Boyue Cool.
It is expected that pre-orders will begin in early April, and the first cars will go to their owners in the first half of this year.
The Geely Boyue Cool is specifically aimed at a group of young consumers, and the model name is an acronym (Cool: Creative, Opening, Outdare, and Love), according to the automaker. The car uses the Geely Starburst Vision design language, giving it angular shapes and clean lines. He received a large panoramic sunroof.
The new Geely Atlas with a powerful Volvo engine is presented.
The front is adorned with a large grille with matrix black mesh. The LED daytime running lights can light up along with the brand logo.
The dimensions of the compact crossover are 4510 x 1865 x 1650 mm with a wheelbase of 2701 mm. The car is equipped with a four-cylinder 180-horsepower 1.5 engine developed jointly by Volvo and Geely, as well as a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
At the rear is a quad exhaust system, new LED headlights and a high-mounted brake light.
The cabin hasn’t been revealed yet, but Geely says the Boyue Cool will introduce a “digital interactive cockpit” concept, featuring a full LCD instrument panel, a large central control screen and a multi-function antibacterial steering wheel.
