Geely Galaxy E8 will be released soon
The Geely Galaxy E8, the first sedan in the purely electric Galaxy E series, is expected to be available for pre-order on October 30 in China. The starting price is expected to be around $27,300 and launch in the fourth quarter of this year. Galaxy E8 will directly compete with models like BYD Han EV.
The Galaxy E8 model, built on the Geely SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, has dimensions of 5010 x 1920 x 1465 mm, a wheelbase of 2925 mm, and a curb weight of 2030 kg. Consumers are offered a choice of both 18-inch and 19-inch wheels.
The drag coefficient is only 0.199Cd. Additionally, power is expected to come from a 272-hp electric motor. and a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 62 or 76 kWh, which will provide a range of 550 km and 665 km, respectively.

The cabin features a 45-inch 8K screen measuring 1,130 x 138 mm and 9.8 mm thick, covering the entire space from the driver to the front passenger. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295.
