New spy photos show Nissan is preparing the next-generation Kicks crossover. The camouflage film hides the design details, but it is known that the model will be completely updated.
The new Nissan Kicks looks a little bigger, but it’s unclear whether it will be built on a new platform. The body became more sporty, it received a spoiler and a massive trunk lid with new lights.
The new Nissan Kicks has changed a lot: the premiere is expected this year
Nissan is expected to redesign the interior along with the exterior. There will be a new digital instrument panel and infotainment system with a large screen. Apple CarPlay and new active safety features are also expected.
The current Kicks in the US is powered by Nissan’s 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. It develops 122 hp. and works in conjunction with the company’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission. It is only available with front-wheel drive. Nissan also offers the current model with a hybrid powertrain, but it’s not available in the US.
The 2023 Nissan Kicks starts at $21,925. The presentation of the new model will take place before the end of the year.
