In the AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile processors, the top GPU is Vega 8. Such a graphics processor is available only in the Ryzen 9 4900H / HS and Ryzen 7 4800U models. What this GPU is capable of in top-end APUs, we have already seen. It is much faster than any other integrated graphics core and sometimes manages to bypass even desktop budget 3D-cards.
The old Vega 10 GPU and the new Intel G7 are left behind
What can Vega 7 do? The more affordable Ryzen 7 4800H and Ryzen 7 4700U have such a GPU. In the video below you can see a comparison of the Ryzen 7 4800H, Ryzen 7 3700U with the old Vega 10 GPU and Core i7-1065G7 with the top-end G7 graphics core for the company.
As you can see, Vega 7 is often 10-20% faster than the old Vega 10, and even Intel G7 sometimes lags twice or more. In addition, the video demonstrates that the Ryzen 7 4800H with its graphics core can easily provide decent performance in the latest Resident Evil 3 game in Full HD resolution with far from the lowest settings.
