The increase could be $200
According to Tim Long, an analyst at British bank Barclays, the iPhone 15 Pro/Max will be more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro/Max. Long said the information comes from supply chain companies in Asia.
So, the iPhone 15 Pro will be $100 more than the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be $100-$200 more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. He believes that prices for the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models will remain the same as last year.
The older iPhone 15 Pro Max model will rise in price
Prices in the US may be as follows:
- iPhone 15: $799 (no change);
- iPhone 15 Plus: $899 (no change);
- iPhone 15 Pro: $1,099 (was $999);
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: $1299 (was $1099).
Bloomberg reported earlier this week that Apple is considering raising the price of the iPhone 15 Pro models by an undisclosed amount.
If Apple sticks to the standard scheme, the presentation of new smartphones will take place in September this year.
