There is still hope that this is not a hardware defect in the iPhone 15 Pro screen, that is, not a real burn-in, but something that can be fixed with a software update.

In addition, statistics show that as of October 6, the iOS 17 update was installed on 23% of devices 18 days after its release. By comparison, iOS 16’s install rate was 29% 18 days after its release. 12.13% of users use iOS 17.0.2, 6.84% use iOS 17.0.3, and 2% use iOS 17. iOS 16.6.1 and 16.7 users account for about 45%.
