The company made the decision to revoke the certificate independently, as Aeroflot added. It was dictated by the concentration of activities to maintain airworthiness on the basis of the design solutions development department of Aeroflot PJSC.

At the same time, the Aeroflot Technics certificate will be retained to ensure the daily work of the company and solve simple problems, as well as to develop the direction for the production of alternative components (class 3B). The decision made will not affect the operations and safety of the airline’s flights,” Aeroflot noted.
Earlier, the Izvestia newspaper reported that the Federal Air Transport Agency suspended the certificate of the aircraft developer of the Pobeda airline: “The reason for the suspension is the violations identified by the carrier in the approval of modifications on the Boeing 737.”
