The intermediate version will have a hybrid power plant
The Motors Actu resource has published many important details about the brand-new Dacia Duster SUV. The car will reportedly be presented on November 29 in Portugal.
The revolutionary new Duster will be presented on November 29.
The SUV will be built on the CMF-B platform – approximately the same platform will be used in the newest Lada Iskra. The car will have three engines, all gasoline. The base one is a turbocharged-liter engine with a capacity of 120 hp. The middle option is with a hybrid powertrain based on a 1.2-liter engine. Power will be 140 hp. This power plant is already used in the Dacia Jogger station wagon. The third option is a 1.3-liter with 170 hp. This is a forced version of the 1.3-liter turbo engine that was installed on the Russian Renault Arkana.
It will be revolutionary not only in the technical part (finally, the B0 platform is consigned to history) but also in design and equipment. The design will be brutal, in the style of the Dacia Bigster concept, and the equipment will have many modern technologies, including driver assistance systems. Therefore, Renault quite reasonably believes that the new model will compete with cars from Toyota, Skoda, and Kia. By the way, despite the breakthrough in technology, equipment and, one would like to think, quality, the Duster will practically not rise in price.
Let us remind you that today Renault presented the Kardian crossover – this is a kind of improved Sandero Stepway.
