The rotary camera of the smartphone Samsung Galaxy A82 will receive a 64-megapixel sensor
We have already reported that Samsung is preparing for the release of the mid-range smartphone Galaxy A82. Now Internet sources have published a new piece of information about this curious novelty.
Earlier, the Galaxy A82 would be the world’s first 5G smartphone equipped with a rotating camera block. This is the design used in the Galaxy A80 model shown in the images.
Resource GalaxyClub.nl claims that the Galaxy A82 camera will include a main 64-megapixel sensor. And we are talking about the Sony IMX686 sensor and not about Samsung’s own ISOCELL GW2 / 1 solution.
Samsung is rumored to be designing several variants of the Galaxy A82. Therefore, the version with the described camera can be aimed at some specific regions.
It is not clear yet about the processor involved. The projected smartphone has been spotted in the AnTuTu database with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chip, but the commercial version may come with a different processor.
One way or another, another leak confirms that this year Samsung is announcing the Galaxy A82 model, which will be the successor to the Galaxy A80. Obviously, shortly, there will be additional information about the upcoming new product.
