Sony today officially unveiled the a6700 mirrorless camera – it received a new BSI CMOS APS-C sensor with a resolution of 26 megapixels. There is also a built-in stabilization system.

The Sony a6700 has replaced the Sony a6600. Among the most notable innovations, in addition to the new sensor, is the latest generation Bionz XR processor, borrowed from the ZV-E1 model. Improvements in video recording are also associated with it: if for the Sony a6600 the maximum is 4K 30 fps, then the Sony a6700 allows you to shoot video at 4K 60 fps or 4K 120 fps (in the latter case, with crop). XAVC HS (H.265), XAVC-I (All-I H.264), and (Long GOP H.264) formats are supported.

The Sony a6700, the flagship mirrorless camera with an APS-C sensor, is unveiled.

Sony a6700 received an electronic viewfinder with a resolution of 2.36 megapixels and a 3-inch movable display with a resolution of 1.04 megapixels. There is one UHS-II SD memory card slot, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gb/s) port, and built-in Wi-Fi.

Dimensions Sony a6700 – 122 x 69 x 64 mm, weight – 493 grams (10 grams lighter than the a6600 model). On one battery charge, you can take up to 570 shots.

The novelty will go on sale in July at a price of $1,400. The version with the 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens is priced at $1500, the kit with the 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens costs $1800.
