Kia announced that the limited edition Kia EV6 First Edition electric vehicles intended for the US market have been completely sold out on the day they start preordering.

This version will include 1,500 vehicles in unique color combinations, available only with advance booking. The price starts at $ 58,500. The company plans to begin shipping the Kia EV6 First Edition in the first quarter of next year.
Buyers were offered three limited color combinations including Urban Yellow with black seats, Glacier with dark green seats and Steel Gray Matte with black seats. Kia noted that the yellow exterior and dark green seats for the Glacier are exclusive to the First Edition. The vehicles also feature illuminated door sills with First Edition designation and a numbered interior badge to highlight the limited production.
Kia also shared other information: 81% of buyers who pre-ordered the Kia EV6 First Edition also chose a home charger from among the three gift options available. There was also the option to charge the car for a total of 1000 kW • h (paid charging) and the Apple Watch.
In Europe, Kia reported more than 33,000 potential buyers, up 300% more than the company had hoped. In South Korea, the number of bookings exceeded 21,000 on the first day.
As we already reported , the Kia EV6 was faster than the Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-AMG GT, Porsche 911 Targa 4 and Ferrari California T.
