The 2025 Volvo EX90 flagship electric crossover goes on sale next year with a starting price of $76,695 in base Twin Motor Plus configuration.
The 2025 Volvo EX90 is available for pre-order online. US buyers have a choice of six- or seven-seat configurations, two trim levels (Plus and Ultra) and two Volvo-developed powertrains – Twin Motor and Twin Motor Performance.
Twin Motor develops power of 402 hp. and 568 Nm of torque, and Twin Motor Performance – 496 hp. and 671 Nm of torque. All models are equipped with a battery with a capacity of 111 kWh, providing a range of up to 482 km on a single charge. The battery supports DC fast charging up to 250 kW.
The six-seat Volvo EX90 Twin Motor Plus is priced at $77,195, while the most expensive option starts at $86,545 – the seven-seat EX90 Twin Motor Performance Ultra.
The electric SUV is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, LED headlights with automatic high beams and cornering lights, LED taillights with side marker lights, and rain-sensing wipers. Equipment includes 20-inch alloy wheels, active grille shutters and retractable frameless rear-view mirrors.
Inside, the EX90 features a 9-inch digital driver display, a 14.5-inch center display with Google built-in, a graphic head-up display, a power folding third row, 4-zone automatic climate control with CleanZone, an air purifier, a 14-speaker Bose Performance audio system, 8-way power front seats, heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, Nordico upholstery, wood trim inlays and more.
Convenience features include Digital Key Plus with keyless entry, inductive smartphone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming, 6 USB-C ports, power tailgate, heat pump, tinted glass, rear parking assist camera, surround view at 360°.

The EX90 is said to offer the highest level of standard safety features of any Volvo to date. The car is equipped with a combination of state-of-the-art sensors and proprietary software, including special sensors and cameras that measure eye concentration to detect distraction, fatigue or inattention – a so-called driver awareness system.
Standard safety kit includes next-generation Pilot Assist with adaptive cruise control, lidar, blind spot monitoring with steering assist and cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, automatic post-collision braking, passenger presence sensor, door open alert and much more.
The Ultra trim level, which costs an additional $4,350, adds air suspension, soft-closing doors, 21-inch wheels, laminated glass (side windows), power adjustable side bolsters, and massaging front seats.
