In a personal microblog, the journalist wrote: “One of the most common questions I get asked is whether they stand at the bottom of the Series X can be removed if you want to lay the device horizontally. I have not been able to find a way to disconnect it from the console and just recently received confirmation from Microsoft that it cannot be done. ” Why the developers of Series X implemented the non-removable stand is unknown. Probably, such a move is intended to simplify the production of console bodies.
