The Core i7-14700K looks the most interesting

Detailed specifications of the Intel Core i9-14900K, i7-14700K and i5-14600K processors, which are expected to be presented in October, have appeared on the Web. Recall that we are talking about the Raptor Lake Refresh line, which will not bring either a new process technology or new architectures.

However, some models of the new line will be significantly better. According to these data, this will be the Core i7-14700K. The new CPU will have 8 large and 12 small cores, while the Core i7-13700K has 8 cores of each class. In addition, the frequencies will be 3.4-5.6 GHz versus 3.4-5.4 GHz for its predecessor. As a result, the new CPU should be noticeably faster than the old one.

These will be the Core i9-14900K, i7-14700K and i5-14600K.

But the Intel Core i9-14900K and Core i5-14600K cannot boast of an increase in the number of cores. In the first case, due to the fact that it is no longer possible to grow them with the same chip, and in the second, apparently, simply because Intel decided so.

But the frequencies of new products will still grow. In the new flagship, they will be equal to 3.2–6.0 GHz versus 3.0–5.8 GHz for its predecessor, and the Core i5-14600K will operate at frequencies of 3.5–5.3 GHz versus 3.5–5. 1 GHz from the predecessor.

It is worth noting that there were earlier rumors that the Core i5-14600K will also receive more cores than its predecessor, so it is not yet clear which of the data is correct. But regarding the Core i7-14700K, all sources agree.
