It will be presented in August
The premiere of the new Mitsubishi crossover will take place in August at the International Motor Show in Indonesia, after which the model will go on sale in countries that are members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The automaker is reluctant to reveal the name just yet, but the company has released several teasers.
This is a brand new Mitsubishi.
This LED backlight may seem a bit familiar because we saw a similar design back in October 2022. This new crossover is likely the production version of the XFC concept. Mitsubishi does not rule out expanding the model’s availability if it proves commercially successful in target countries.
The crossover will be the first Mitsubishi vehicle to feature Yamaha’s newly developed Dynamic Sound Premium sound system. Thanks to a special setting optimized for the acoustic characteristics of the cabin, the new audio system will provide a very high quality sound.
That’s about all Mitsubishi reveals at the moment, but we’ll remind you that the concept offered a wet driving mode and three additional modes: Normal, Gravel and Mud. The image touted the XFC as having best-in-class interior space and side-by-side screen placement, which is becoming the norm in 2023.
