The Haval Veyron SUV will hit the market next year and the price is expected to be around $28,000. It will be based on the Hi4 plug-in hybrid platform and will compete with the Li Auto Li 7 and L8, Huawei Aito M7 and BYD Tang.
Based on patent images, CarNewsChina, with the help of a Chinese designer, created high-quality renderings of the Haval Veyron, which are presented in this article.
This is a Haval Veyron. The first high-quality images have appeared
Haval is a brand of Great Wall Motor (GWM), one of the largest private Chinese automakers. Specializes in crossovers and SUVs. In the GWM lineup, the Veyron will sit above the Haval Raptor. The front end will be very similar to the Haval Xiaolong, and the side images of the patent show that the fastback design has a lot in common with the appearance of the Tank 400 and Tank 700.
Like the fourth model in the Dragon series, the Haval Raptor, the Veyron will also be equipped with GWM’s Hi4 plug-in hybrid system. Hi4 has two sets of power units: 1.5L+DHT+P4 and 1.5T+DHT+P4. Both systems have a combined output of 478 hp.
Qiao Xinyu, deputy general manager of Haval, previously announced that a Hi4-T all-wheel drive SUV will be released in 2024, likely to be called the Haval Veyron. Chinese media suggests that it will be a 6-7-seater car with the new generation of ADAS systems from GWM. The hybrid’s interior should be more premium compared to the Raptor.
