The car is already traveling on public roads
Spy photographers have caught a Dacia Duster crossover with minimal camouflage – at least far less of it than ever before.
The photos give us the best idea of the model to date. The updated Duster follows in the footsteps of the Bigster concept . It has an updated front end – the car received rectangular headlights, new daytime running lights and a thinner grille.
Design changes continue on the side and rear. The car received different wheel arches and new door handles, roof rails, a spoiler over the rear window and bronze side mirror housings. The crossover also received a trunk lid that fits into the body as part of a puzzle.
This is Duster 2024. The novelty is based on the Bigster concept
Dacia hasn’t said much about the Duster, but back in March, the automaker confirmed that the upgraded model would go into production next year at the Mioveni plant in Romania. The company also confirmed that the crossover will be built on the CMF-B platform, which can be “equipped with internal combustion engines, alternative and hybrid engines”, ensuring compliance with changing European regulations.
Previously, there were rumors of a possible plug-in hybrid variant.
