Chery Amulet T9 will be followed by Amulet A9
The situation with the first car of the revived Chery Amulet line has become clearer. It will be called Chery Amulet T9.
The car was presented a week ago, but then it was not entirely clear what kind of car it was.
It is worth adding that in China the Amulet series of cars is known by the name Fengyun. The first car of the line entered the Chinese market in 1999 and became the first-born of Chery. For a long time, “Amulets” were popular outside of China. These cars were also assembled in Russia. By 2016, production ceased, and now Chery has decided to revive the big name.

The model is built based on the Tiggo 9 and is equipped with a C-DM gasoline-electric power plant based on a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a power of 156 hp. and a 218-horsepower electric motor. Options with one or two electric motors, front-wheel drive, or all-wheel drive will be released. The power reserve will be up to 1,400 km, and on pure electricity the model will travel up to 165 km.
The launch of the new Chery Amulet line in China will take place in 2024. Also in the lineup will be the Amulet A9 sedan, which will be a hybrid copy of the Chery Arrizo 8.
