Presentation expected this year
The upcoming facelifted Tesla Model 3, also known as Project Highland, has again been spotted testing on public roads, and this time it was a white prototype covered in plain black camouflage.
The photo shows part of the left taillight and confirms the new design we’ve seen in renders. Now it is known for sure that the updated Tesla Model 3 Highland will receive new taillights.
The rear diffuser is also partially visible through the black fabric. There may be some aerodynamic improvements in store that could slightly increase the overall range, especially at high speeds.
This is the new Tesla Model 3: it was first spotted on a public road
In April, the first photo appeared on the network , in which the Tesla Model 3, codenamed Highland, was first shown from the front without camouflage.
The new Tesla Model 3 is expected to get more sensors and cameras, as well as an improved self-driving system.
