This is why Elon Musk decided to fight Mark Zuckerberg. Threads is coming out on July 6th
In June, it was revealed that Instagram* would launch a new text-based social media platform, Threads, which is designed as an alternative to Twitter. After Meta* announced plans to release Threads, Tesla CEO and Twitter owner Elon Musk said he was ready to take on Meta* CEO Mark Zuckerberg in the Octagon .
According to the Threads page on the App Store, it’s a place where “communities come together to discuss everything from the topics you care about today to what’s trending tomorrow.”
If you want to try Threads, you need to have an Instagram* account.
The App Store says the app is due out on July 6th.
