Samsung has not yet commented on the situation.

A new problem with the appearance of a bar on the display has appeared in the line of Samsung smartphones. This time the problem affected the Samsung Galaxy A71. Prior to this, there were stories with green, pink or purple lines on flagship models, including the Galaxy S20 Plus, Note 20 Ultra and S21 Ultra.

Twitter user Dipayan Ray reported the presence of a white vertical line on the display of his Samsung Galaxy A71. He claims that before the appearance of the line, the device was not dropped or damaged in any way. In response to the issue, Samsung requested the user’s contact details following the normal consumer complaint protocol.

The incident comes shortly after Samsung provided a free screen replacement for Galaxy Note 20 Ultra users who were experiencing issues with green and pink lines after a June 2023 software update. The problem affects different countries and smartphones equipped with OLED screens from Samsung Display.
