TIM One Number, a new service allows you to duplicate your mobile phone number to use it on multiple devices each with its own virtual SIM, with the same offer as the main SIM.
TIM One Number is a Virtual SIM that duplicates the offer of its SIM on a second device. A very useful service for those who want to fully exploit the features of the smartwatch that require an internet connection without resorting to a double SIM. Not only does TIM One Number allow you to enjoy an internet connection on the smartwatch with a single SIM, but it extends the same offer as the main SIM.
TIM One Number: the virtual SIM for smartwatches arrives
With TIM One Number you can leave your smartphone at home and continue to make and receive calls, listen to streaming music, and be connected to the internet with the smartwatch. The traffic carried out will be charged directly to the active line of the associated smartphone, based on the offers and rates chosen.
To use the TIM One Number service, which does not include activation costs, it is sufficient to have either an Android smartphone with at least version 6.0 and 1.5 GB of RAM or an iOS smartphone with at least version starting from 15.2 and a compatible device with the service such as smartwatches with LTE connectivity and purchase the offer at 4.99 euros/month, with the first three months free until next January 31st. The enabled device must be connected to the main SIM TIM through a simple pairing procedure.
TIM will therefore offer the TIM One Number service on the top models of its price list with Android and iOS systems and in the coming weeks, the service will be extended to various brand models.
TIM One Number is an eSIM that duplicates the offer of your SIM so you can use the same number on Apple Watch Cellular. This means that you can take advantage of TIM’s virtual SIM to receive phone calls, messages, and notifications on the smartwatch even when the iPhone is not nearby. Furthermore, since data traffic is also shared, we can for example listen to streaming music directly from the Apple Watch.
Think of those who love to do fitness with the Apple Watch and want to go out without carrying their iPhone for that hour of daily running. If before all this was possible only with Vodafone offers, from today we can activate a similar service also on the TIM card.
The TIM One Number service does not include activation costs and has a monthly cost of € 4.99 per month, with the first three months free for those who activate the offer by January 31st. Obviously, an Apple Watch Cellular is required to take advantage of TIM’s eSIM.
