Twitter post thumbnails are now displayed in full

The social network Twitter has made the updated design of posts with attached images available to all platform users. Now the previews of images in posts displayed in the feed will be shown in full and not partially. Information about this was published in the official account of the social network developers.

This innovation is long-awaited since the preview does not always allow us to understand what is shown in a particular image in the feed. Now it will be easier for users to determine whether or not to open a picture for viewing. Simply put, the attached images will be published in the feed-in full size but respecting the aspect ratio of the interface. Previously, before publishing, users had to select some particular part of the image that was shown in the preview.

Testing the updated post design began in March with a limited number of users and is now available to all Twitter users on Android and iOS devices. The update will be especially relevant against the backdrop of support for publishing 4K images.
