Chery officially launched its Fengyun series (also known as Amulet, Fulwin and Windcloud) at the Chery Fengyun New Energy Night 2023. The event featured the Fengyun A9 concept cars and the T11 SUV.

Fengyun/Amulet was Chery’s first sedan, production of which began in 1999. However, production of the model was discontinued in 2016. Now Chery is rebranding Amulet as a new series of energy vehicles. Currently, the Fengyun series has more than 400 sales points and 1,500 service points. In the next two years, 11 models will be released in this series, namely: A9, T11, E3, E7, E8, A8, T6, T7, T8, T8Max and T9. In addition, Chery also announced that its Fengyun, Exeed Sterra, Jetour Shanghai and iCAR series will launch a total of 24 hybrid vehicles over the next two years.

Two new Chery Amulet presented: consumption 4.2 l/100 km and power reserve up to 1400 km

The Fengyun/Amulet series will be equipped with the Kunpeng Super Performance Electric Hybrid C-DM system, consisting of a dedicated hybrid engine, transmission and battery management system. In particular, the system is equipped with a fifth-generation Chery ACTECO 1.5TGDI hybrid engine and is paired with a 3-speed DHT gearbox. Fuel consumption is 4.2 l/100 km, and the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.26 seconds.

The A9 is Fengyun’s first sedan. It has Level 3+ autonomous driving assistance capabilities, a pure electric range of 200 km and a full range of 1,400 km.

Fengyun T11 is a six-seater SUV equipped with an intelligent all-wheel drive system. Its length exceeds five meters and its wheelbase exceeds three meters. With fast charging, recharging the battery from 30% to 80% takes just 19 minutes. In addition, according to Chery, the cabin uses a large AI-powered language model and six 5G-enabled screens.
