UAZ has expanded the capabilities of its branded online car ordering service
The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant offered customers a new opportunity: instead of going to a dealer, a car can be ordered directly at the factory. This option appeared in the company’s online configurator. True, the ordered car will have to wait a long time.
UAZ can now be ordered directly from the factory
“ The car configurator has been running on the official website for several years now. First of all, it allows you to purchase a car without additional dealer markups for options. What’s new is that previously it allowed you to place an order with a dealer, but now – directly at the factory. The purchase period depends on the availability of a specific configuration. For pre-orders, the wait will be 3-6 months ,” said a UAZ representative.
Now users have a choice: order a car from a dealer with an overpayment of 50 thousand rubles (from now on, delivery of cars to a UAZ dealer is paid – just like with dealers in the USA), or pick up the car directly at the factory, saving 50 thousand rubles. The only difference is that the factory will be able to pick up the car no earlier than three months later, while the dealer may have it a week or several weeks later. Moreover, in both cases, a potential UAZ buyer can configure the car himself: choose the color and options.
