Various Linux variants are available for the Tuxedo InfinityBook S 15 laptop
Tuxedo has announced the InfinityBook S 15 laptop, built on the Intel Tiger Lake hardware platform and equipped with a 15.5-inch IPS display.
Depending on the configuration, a Core i5-1135G7 (2.4-4.2 GHz) or a Core i7-1165G7 (2.8-4.7 GHz) processor is installed. These chips contain four cores with multithreading support and Intel Iris Xe graphics accelerator.
The amount of DDR4-3200 RAM can be up to 64 GB. It is possible to install two NVMe PCIe SSDs with a capacity of up to 2TB each. A MicroSD slot is provided.
The screen has a resolution Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels), the brightness of 300 cd / m 2, the contrast of 800: 1 and 100 per cent coverage sRGB colour space. The keyboard is backlit in white.
The equipment includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters, a Gigabit LAN network controller, Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen2 and HDMI 2.0b interfaces, stereo speakers and a 1-megapixel webcam. Dimensions are 357 × 220.5 × 19.9 mm, weight – 1.74 kg.
Various operating systems are available on the Linux kernel for the novelty: Ubuntu, OpenSUSE and Tuxedo OS. The price starts at $1140.75.
