Video: on improving the usability in the new trailer for the remaster of Total War: Rome
Creative Assembly and Feral Interactive studios, together with SEGA, continue to share materials on the Total War: Rome remasters announced at the end of March. Previously, the developers presented a Gaul’s campaign segment and showed a trailer, which compared the original reissue. They have now released a new video, in which they focus on improvements that increase the convenience of the passage.
First, the creators showed a modified camera operation. It will help you choose a convenient angle in battles and when moving around on the global map. Further, Creative Assembly and Feral Interactive demonstrated a settings menu with classic and remaster modes: users can turn off individual changes, for example, return the old diplomacy and artificial intelligence of opponents.
Also, the trailer contains footage of a new agent – a merchant and sixteen new factions available to the player. The video also informs about support for Steam Workshop, the ability to change the speed of battles, the appeared icons with the squad’s status, and much more.
Total War: Rome Remastered will be released on April 29, 2021, on PC. Owners of the original version can purchase the reissue with a 50% discount until June 1st.
