Windows 10 May 2020 Update has become available to all users

Microsoft is expected to release the next Windows 10 21H1 update in May-June this year. A few months earlier, the developers announced that last year’s functional update, Windows 10 May 2020 Update or Windows (2004), is finally ready for “widespread deployment.” In fact, this means that Windows 10 (2004) does not contain serious errors and is ready to be installed on computers of all platform users.

Since its release in May last year, Windows 10 (2004) has identified and fixed many serious bugs that caused various problems. Such problems only affected some users, so Microsoft blocked the installation of the update for certain PC configurations.

Thus, it took developers several months to solve the compatibility problems of Windows 10 (2004) with certain PC configurations, after which the update became available to all users. Since Windows 10 (2004) has been in testing for over a year by now, Microsoft cannot be said to be rushing to distribute it. Also, users of older versions of the platform can immediately upgrade to a more current version.

Microsoft is also expected to begin rolling out preview builds of Windows 21H1, the next major OS update this month, to insiders. Although testing Windows 10 21H1 will begin this month, this update’s large-scale distribution will not begin until May-June of this year.
