Oppo today unveiled the Oppo X 2021 concept smartphone, the world’s first ever roll-up screen. The name hints that a similar device may come out next year, but Oppo itself does not say anything about this.

Meanwhile, the smartphone exists in the form of a prototype, and not just on renders, as one might initially think.
As you can see, the smartphone unfolds when you slide your finger across the touch panel on one of the edges. The process is not very fast and takes about 3 seconds, but you can hardly expect more at this stage.
You can also see that Oppo has already worked on the shell – the information on the screen changes depending on the state of the smartphone.
