Xbox Series X will be in short supply until next April
The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S game consoles went on sale last week, but unfortunately, not everyone can get it. The shortage of supplies has led to the fact that the shelves are empty – in stores, you can find only Xbox Series S. And, according to Microsoft, the problem will continue until April 2021.
Xbox CFO Tim Stuart raised the issue of Xbox Series X and S at Jefferies Interactive Entertainment. According to him, the shortage of consoles will be observed both during the holidays and after – at least until April 1, 2021. But in the next quarter after this date (from April 1 to June 30), the supply chain will start working at full speed and demand will begin to be fully satisfied.
Perhaps everything will be different in our country and Xbox fans will be able to buy new consoles in retail stores without any problems until next spring. Nevertheless, right now in the metropolitan areas of major retail chains Xbox Series X is sold out.
Xbox Series X and S were released simultaneously worldwide on November 10th.
