It will be released this year
Xiaomi is expected to be one of the first brands to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in its Xiaomi 14 Pro. New details about the Xiaomi 14 Pro display have appeared online.
According to Gizmochina, Xiaomi 14 Pro will be equipped with a 6.7-inch Micro Quad Curved 2K C8 display that supports dynamic refresh rates from 1 to 120 Hz. Its screen will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and will boast a narrow frame with a width of 1 mm.
This display, with a maximum brightness of 3000 cd/m2, will support HDR 10+, Full Link Dolby Vision and Pro Color Tuning. It will also include PWM dimming over 2000Hz to reduce eye strain.
Xiaomi 14 Pro acquires details
The smartphone will be offered with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 flash memory. The device will be powered by a 4860 mAh battery. The 3C certification suggests that the phone will support 120W fast charging.
Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to introduce satellite connectivity features and run on MIUI 15 based on Android 14. For photography enthusiasts, the camera package will include a 50-megapixel main camera (IMX989) with optical image stabilization and variable aperture, complemented by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera lens and a 50-megapixel telemacro camera.
