Perhaps Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be the world’s first smartphone with this sensor
Well-known insider Digital Chat Station shared details about the prototype of the future Xiaomi flagship – Xiaomi 14 Ultra. According to the informant, the device will have a 2K resolution screen and a camera with four modules in a large round protrusion. The main module will use a 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 sensor, which will debut in 2023.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be the new king of mobile photography?
LYT900 is an improved version of the IMX989 sensor used in the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. With a 1/0.98-inch optical format, the photosensitive area has increased by 9%, meaning the sensor can capture more light than the IMX989. Let us remind you that at the moment there are five sensors in the Lytia line: LYT900, LYT800, LYT700, LYT600, and LYT500.
Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12, as well as Xiaomi 13.
