Xiaomi has released a new version of Redmi 9 with a completely different hardware: easier and cheaper

Not so long ago, the Chinese company Xiaomi presented in Russia the Redmi 9 smartphone with a 6.53-inch Full HD + screen, a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, and a quadruple-camera in a 13 + 8 + 5 + 2 million pixel configuration. And now, under the same name, a device with a completely different filling has debuted in India.

The device is also equipped with a 6.53-inch display, but the panel resolution is lower – HD + (1600 × 720 pixels). The quadruple-camera has given way to a dual camera, which includes sensors with 13 and 2 million pixels. A 5-megapixel camera is installed in front, and not an 8-megapixel one, as in the previously released smartphone.

The presented device carries on board the MediaTek Helio G35 processor, which combines eight Cortex-A53 computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz and the IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

The device’s arsenal includes 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, a 64/128 GB flash drive, a microSD slot, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n and Bluetooth 5 wireless adapters, a rear fingerprint scanner, an FM tuner, a Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Power is provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Dimensions are 164.9 × 77.07 × 9.0 mm, weight – 196 g. The operating system is Android 10 with MIUI 12 add-on. Price – from 120 US dollars.
