Xiaomi today officially unveiled the Xiaomi Home WiFi Tri-Band Mesh Router, which is priced at $225.
This router adds a 5.8GHz band in addition to 2.4GHz and 5.2GHz. The router is equipped with Mesh technology, which Xiaomi has improved, and the tri-band transmission provides faster speed. The two devices in the kit cover a large home up to 350 square meters and support up to 600 devices.
This router supports dual 8 data streams with a total speed of up to 11700Mbps. The interface includes a 2.5G network port, and aggregation of two local networks is supported. Inside, a dual-core processor, NPU, 512MB memory, and NFC are installed for fast connection of devices.
In addition, this router also has a built-in Bluetooth Mesh Gateway. You will be able to connect various Bluetooth devices such as door locks, temperature, and humidity meters, and sensors throughout your home.
