Chinese Xiaomi quietly introduced a new smartwatch under the Redmi brand for the international market. Information about Redmi Watch 3 Active has become available on the official global website of the company in almost all details, it remains only to wait for the announcement of the price and the start date of sales.
Apparently, Redmi Watch 3 Active is the global version of Redmi Watch 3 Lite (Youth Edition) released last month in China. There watches are offered at a price of 55 dollars. In the international market, black and gray body options will be available.
Xiaomi introduced Redmi Watch 3 Active for the international market
Redmi Watch 3 Active features a large 1.83-inch LCD display with a resolution of 240 x 280 pixels. Thus, the watch received a larger screen than the more expensive Redmi Watch 3 with a diagonal of 1.75 inches. At the same time, the Active version does not provide NFC and GPS modules.
The watch is water resistant (5ATM), supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Bluetooth voice calls, tracks heart rate and blood oxygen levels (SpO2), as well as sleep quality and menstrual cycle. More than 200 watch faces and 100 sports modes can be used on Redmi Watch 3 Lite, but there is no app store to use third party apps or watch faces. The battery with a capacity of 289 mAh provides 8-12 days of battery life.
