Actually, this is the same model, but with different names.
Launched this week, the Redmi Note 12R is set to debut in other markets soon. According to Poland-based insider and developer Kacper Skrzypek, Redmi Note 12R will debut globally as Redmi 12 5G, and in India it will be listed as Poco M6 Pro 5G. Interestingly, the Poco M5 Pro 5G did not come out in India, and probably will not come out – instead, the Poco M6 Pro 5G model will immediately appear.
Xiaomi is preparing to release Redmi 12 5G and Poco M6 Pro 5G.
From the name change, the characteristics do not change: technically, Redmi 12 5G and Poco M6 Pro 5G will be clones of Redmi Note 12R. That is, they will receive an IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.79 inches, Full HD + resolution and a frame rate of 90 Hz, SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, a camera with sensors with a resolution of 50 and 2 megapixels, a 5000 mAh battery with support for charging power of 18 W, Android 13 with MIUI 14 interface.
