Xiaomi has previously publicly confirmed that the Xiaomi tablet product line, which has not been updated for a long time, will receive new models this year. Sources say the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 has already been shipped for certification, so the tablet will go on sale soon.

According to previous rumors, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will be equipped with an 11-inch 2K display with a high refresh rate of 120 or 144 Hz. The source emphasizes that the screen in Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will be better in quality and refresh rate than in existing Apple iPad tablets.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 lineup is expected to launch the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro models, which are equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 and Snapdragon 870 SoCs respectively. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro will compete with the iPad and Huawei MatePad Pro.
The tablet will run a special version of the MIUI shell, which adapts the content to the big screen. A similar MIUI version has already been implemented for the large screen of the foldable Xiaomi Mix Fold smartphone.
Also in the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, stylus support and four Harman / Kardon speakers are expected.
