Xiaomi President Lu Weibing said that the Mix Fold 3 foldable smartphone will be released in August. This is the first official announcement regarding the device.
Xiaomi recently launched a new factory and the Fold 3 will be the first smartphone to be produced there. It is also known that the device will receive Leica cameras and will be even thinner than the Fold 2, although it is already incredibly thin compared to many other folding smartphones (11.2 mm).

Mix Fold 2, recall, offers a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, a 50-megapixel main camera, a periscope telephoto camera, up to 1 TB of flash memory and a 4500 mAh battery.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Mix Fold 3, like the current generation, will not be released outside of China. At least that’s what an Ice Universe insider claims.
