Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi Smart Home Screen Pro 8, which is available for pre-order in China on Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin, JD.com and Tmall for about $100.
It is a smart speaker with an 8-inch high-definition “tablet-level” anti-glare screen that supports touch and voice control, and a gadget for controlling smart home devices.

A 7500 mAh rechargeable battery is built into the slim body, providing 15 hours of continuous video content playback.
Xiaomi Smart Home Screen Pro 8 connects to the Xiaomi loT platform and can control thousands of smart devices, support multi-device collaboration and communication.
Xiaomi released Mi Smart Home Screen 10 and Mi Smart Home Screen 6 in April and July last year respectively, but they did not come with batteries.
Xiaomi Smart Home Screen Pro 8 will go on sale on August 14th.
