From 800 euros
Asus has just unveiled its new flagship smartphone ZenFone 10. The novelty has retained the size and design of its predecessor, but has improved in a number of ways.
As in the previous generation, the screen can be considered the main feature of the new device. Or rather, its size. It uses a 5.9-inch 144Hz AMOLED panel, and this offer is unique in the market.
The heart of the novelty is SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, there are 8 or 16 GB of RAM and from 128 to 512 GB of flash memory. Unfortunately, for some reason, all the insiders were wrong – there is no battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh in the smartphone. It uses the same as in the previous generation, an element with a capacity of 4300 mAh with 30-watt charging. There is also 15W wireless charging.
ZenFone 10 small full-fledged flagship unveiled
The main camera remains 50MP, but it’s not clear if the sensor has changed. But there was a six-axis stabilization system of the second generation. There is also a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 32MP front camera. Other highlights include IP68 water resistance, two years of OS updates, and five color options.
Prices in Europe range from 800 to 930 euros, and there is no data on sales in the US.
Overall, Asus is more of an update to the ZenFone 9 than a completely new model, but that’s the case with many 2023 flagships.
