Pi wireless charger: On Monday Silicon Valley Pi company had to develop the world’s first wireless charger device. It does away with the cords or mats to wireless charge devices.

Pi says their Pi Wireless Charger will Extend the Wireless Charging Range

The Pi costs, the size of a small table vase. It operates on standard charging technology used in Android or Apple smartphones. It is designed to be powered up the wirelessly.

But it is instead of mats or cords, the conical creation of the charges smartphones with magnetic waves.

Pi Chief statement:

The Pi chief technology officer Lixin Shi said Magnetic fields are an ideal way to send the energy to the portable electronics safely.

The co-founders said during the presentation, this trick was bending the magnetic waves to find phones.

Lixin Shi said, “The hard part was figuring out how to make magnetic charging more flexible. It is for multi-devices and extends its useful ranges”.

He said, “This took us over a year to complete a mathematical proof that makes it all possible”.

It pair figured out how to shape the magnetic fields so energy could be beamed to the phones placed or in use within the foot of a PI.

MacDonald and Shi were graduate the students at a Massachusetts Institute of Technology. They met and began to collaborate the project about the 3.5 years ago.

Based on the MacDonald, Pi’s magnetic fields are a relatively weak, far less than the levels used for the medical imaging. But it allows two devices to be charged at ‘full speed’.

The combination of tablets and smartphones could wirelessly charge on a desk. The Pi was placed near to people working together.

The Pi set up shop in the Silicon Valley Pi city of the San Bruno. The co-founder said they are raised $3.5 million (approximately Rs 22.5 cores) in the seed funding round led by the SoftTech VC managing partner Jean-Francois Clavier.

Pi devices price:

The MacDonald is promised the Pi devices will begin shipping next year and the price is “below $200”.

This month Apple launched the three new iPhone models, including the 10th-anniversary edition iPhone X. all of this phones has a featured wireless charging.

The company said this would come to the market with an AirPower charging mats sized to accommodate an Apple watch AirPoda and iPhone cases.
