Tata Nexon Compact SUV launched in India: Automobile makers set everything ready to make the Tata Nexon subcompact SUV go on sale in India. They will open the booking on today September 21st, 2017. Here are the live updates which they collected from the launch.
1. Tata Nexon Compact SUV launched in India
The Tata Nexon is the first sub-4 metre SUV which is made by Tata Motors. Finally, it is going to rival with the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSports.
Manufacturers made it available to the users in four different variants like XE, XM, XT and XZ+. They made the higher models to enter the market with the attractive premium features.
Tata embedded the company’s new impact design in its Nexon car. It got ready to enter the market with the bold character, styling and with premium features. This car is the fourth Tata product in its platform. Before it, they invented the Tata Tiago, Hexa and Tigor. Tata Nexon resembles these cars, but they priced it somewhat competitively.
It contains the styling elements like dual tone paint scheme, LED DRLs, white accents especially for the foglamps, projector headlamps, handles with body-coloured handles and mirrors, alloy wheels which have 16-inch and even more.
1.3 Infotainment System
It features the various drive modes like Eco, Sport and City. The most attractive feature in this car is the presence of the new touchscreen dashtop HD display. The Harman supplied it to the car, and it delivers it support to the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2.Tata Nexon Engine Specs
2.1 Petrol Engine Variant
A new 1.2-litre cylinder which is turbocharged Revotron petrol motor rules the Tata Nexon car. It will produce the 108bhp of power, and the torque is about 170Nm.
2.2 Diesel Engine Model Car
It includes the 1.5-litre four-cylinder which is the turbocharged diesel engine. This car has all the qualities to join in the Revotorq family. This engine can produce the same 108bhp of power, and the peak torque is about 260Nm.
Manufacturers coupled both the engines with the 6-speed manual gearbox and they set them as standards.
3. Tata Showcased Tata Nexon
The company first showed this car to the public during the last year in February 2016 at Delhi Auto Expo. From that time onwards, Tata is keeping its efforts to make the car correctly in the production model.
